Mrs. Marian Patterson

4th Grade

B.A., Franciscan University of Steubenville

Hello, my name is Marian Patterson and I teach here at Our Lady of the Lake School. I earned my Bachelor’s degree from The Franciscan University of Steubenville. I have been teaching fourth graders at Our Lady of the Lake for 26 years. I have worked as a mentor teacher, a Science Curriculum writer for the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland, a SciTT consultant, a tutor, and Chairperson of the Accreditation Committee for Our Lady of the Lake School. My passion is teaching and my love is teaching fourth graders. I have two happily married children and enjoy spending time with my family.

As an educator, I partner with parents in the education of their child. I foster hands-on learning, cooperative learning groups, and the use of technology in my classroom. My belief is that at Our Lady of the Lake School, with diversified instruction, 21st century learners will be best suited not only for high school and college, but for jobs not yet created for them. My joy is working with my colleagues and the wonderful families of Our Lady of the Lake School and Parish.
